From here, you can explore acres of the forest de Bercé which offers miles of unspoilt walks and cycle tracks.

Enjoy beautiful views from the terrace overlooking rolling fields and the small village of Sarcé. If you enjoy lying on white sands the coast of the Vendée is only two hours away. Alternatively, if the children want more excitement, Disneyland is only 2½ hours by car. The local train station can take you to Paris in 50 mins to explore such historic sites as the Eiffel tower, Notre Dame or for a boat trip along the Seine. There is an English run lake within 15mins which can accommodate groups for day fishing, the outstanding views make it a haven for artists and bird watchers would be in heaven with the array of bird life at Les Guittieres and the surrounding area. For those with a love of sports and the great outdoors the local forest offers app 500 hectares of fantastic mountain bike trails, hiking and great lakes for swimming and water sports.
